Seminar and lectures

The seminar and lectures in Yekaterinburg will take place during the Chinese New Year, which in 2023 falls on January 21 and 22. We, Stanislav Leykin and Alexey Karpov, will hold a series of seminars and a festive meeting.

Oksana Timofeeva, the President of the Traditional Wushu Federation of the Sverdlovsk Region and the official representative of the Chen family in the Russian Federation - the organizer of the event, is preparing a meeting in two locations at once:

21st and 22nd January 2023 at Satt Way Center

In the program of the event we tried to present different types of Chinese health practices. Stanislav Leykin will hold a seminar on cinna, Shaolin style combat grips, I will conduct a neigong class: qigong "8 pieces of brocade" and training in technique shaolinquan (jiben gong) and taolu.

In addition, we will introduce a relatively new species Zhouletsu (a combination of basic Tai Chi Chuan techniques and net play), which has already become a sport in China.

I think the main thing about our meeting is that we can share the experience of living in China and Shaolin in particular. Living in Dengfeng among the monks and masters of Shaolin kung fu irrevocably changes the idea and image of a culture that is formed only over time.
