Dengfeng: How a Village Became Ruins

What's left of the "Village" of Wangzigou (that's what we call the place in Shaolin where only schools are located). Anyone who has been here at least once will understand. But for the curious, I'll give the names, and you can find the locations on the map: 王指沟 wangzhigou

If you still have doubts about the phrase “China is changing very quickly”, then throw them away, there is nothing more to wait for.

For many years, this place was home to the "Shaolin Kung Fu Schools." All names are relative, but they paint a picture. Since March of this year, due to the educational reform in China (we will not know the real reason), the village, as you can see, is gone, along with more than a dozen schools and thousands of students.

These are not all the details, of course, I won’t tell you everything, but it’s not worth going to Dengfeng to train yet - look for other places.
