State Corporation "Avtodor" forces to pay for travel due to its fault
I was among those who accidentally drove onto a toll road section due to the lack of warning signs and spent 60 minutes and 1,100 rubles on it.
Why Drivers Make Wrong Turns
Residents of Kolpino and visitors to the city who accidentally turned onto a new section of the road have no choice but to pay 1,100 rubles and waste time getting back on the road. I did so because I thought the road led to a new area of Kolpino. According to the employees of the collection point, approximately 20-30 drivers a day make the same mistake.
On the new section, U-turns are prohibited by traffic rules, which means that everyone will have to make a U-turn according to the rules at a distance of 20 km there and 20 km back, in total more than 40 minutes of wasted time and disappointment in the form of a travel fee of 1,100 rubles as to Tosno.
I believe that in this situation, the road authority is to blame for not taking care of the comfort of drivers. It misled them with its actions and does not take measures to localize and eliminate its own shortcomings.
I ask with this open letter to draw the attention of the State Company "Avtodor" and provide bright signs warning about entering a section where there is no U-turn, or provide a U-turn. Introduce the U-turn into practice and plans for new roads before each toll point.

Due to the absence of warning, indicating and/or informational signs “Toll Road” before entering the section of the toll road M-11 “Neva” at the address: Sofiyskaya street, Shushary settlement, Pushkinsky district, Saint Petersburg (Kolpino), and taking into account the first sign "Toll road" installed on the section where U-turn is prohibited by traffic rules, a situation has arisen where it seems impossible to avoid driving on the toll road section. Drivers who find themselves in such a situation are forced to spend time, money on operating the car and pay for the toll road section. The situation also causes a negative attitude towards the State Company "Avtodor".
The price paid by drivers lies in the area of not properly following the company's mission: "to provide road users with the opportunity to travel safely, quickly and comfortably, providing a high level of service along the entire route."
Taking into account all of the above, I demand the management of the State Company "Avtodor":
- Reimburse 1100 rubles (receipt in the attachment), which I paid through no fault of my own;
- Install warning signs “Toll road” in sufficient quantity before entering such road;
- Provide for U-turns before the fare collection point.
